Relaxing and Beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Simply Baku and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottages provide 5 star accommodations and are right on the beach with a spectacular view. Marianne was a wonderful hostess and very flexible with our schedule.

My Husband and I had our return visit to Simply Baku nestled in the quaint village of La Cruz Huanacaxtle Mexico in January 2015. What a wonderful oasis of comfort and calm that Marianne, the owner strives to give her guests the moment you arrive. The rooms are lovely with the flare of authentic Mexican décor, the sound of the ocean waves and the soft warm breezes completes the feeling that you are right where you are meant to be. At Simply Baku be ready to be pampered and welcomed by Marianne and her staff. We are planning our next visit in 2016, we can not wait.

We happened upon Baku by chance. We were looking for a place for the 2 of us to spend 10 days, the first time in Mexico without the whole family. Marianne was quick to reply to our request and extremely gracious. We had found the perfect place! Privacy is the utmost importance and we never once felt intruded upon. Every little convenience was accounted for. Locally roasted coffee for our mornings on the patio. Lots of water and ice in the freezer. Cervezas and guacamole upon arrival. We relaxed, we swam, we walked the beach, we siesta-ed, we relaxed some more. Meals in La Cruz were amazing, just a quick walk in and we didn't once feel unsafe doing so. We were always greeted with a friendly Hola! This may have been our first visit to Simply baku but it most definitely will not be our last. Until we meet again Marianne...

We stayed at Simply Baku for 9 nights and LOVED it. Stunning guesthouse, fully equipped , daily cleaning and fresh flowers, gorgeous,quiet beach, private patio, your own palapa, lovely pool. What more could you ask for? But wait there’s more ! If you are so inclined you can have the company of a charming local dog, ( I called her Shadow) LOL and Marianne is the perfect hostess. La Cruz is a wonderful little village full of friendly people. There are lots of wonderful restaurants if you choose to eat out and lots of little shops to buy provisions if you choose to cook. If you are looking for the perfect beach vacation Simply Baku is the place to stay.
