When our Catamaran has to go to the La Cruz shipyard; we luxuriate at Simply Baku. There is nothing like it for relieving stress during a normally hectic period. Our motto has become “Simply Baku or nothing!”

We just keep coming back! My husband David and I have taken many vacations to Mexico over the past 20 years and Simply Baku has proven to be the most welcoming and relaxing spot we've found. Marianne is a wonderfully gracious host! We really enjoy her company, friendly personality and we just love staying in her fabulous place. Her flair for creative design is excellent and the functionality she has built into all of the guest houses is equally well done! We have stayed in every unit multiple times! Each space is beautifully designed with bright Mexican colours in a gorgeous setting. The architecture, workmanship and decor of each and every place is stunning. We really love the beachview house and have stayed there several times - located just behind the beachfront villas. We love the spacious first floor unit with its large private garden, patio and private plunge pool. We often rent a car and really appreciate the private parking spot behind the house or we can also park conveniently at the front gate. You certainly don't need a car in La Cruz! Everything is easy to walk to and very convenient. The world-class marina is just steps away with restaurants, fish market, live music and great bistros. We love to explore the quaint areas north of La Cruz and San Pancho by car and we feel very safe doing so on our regular adventures. We enjoy the wonderful food and live music at so many restaurants in La Cruz and nearby Bucerias. So happy and relaxed when we are there. So sad when its time to leave. Want to stay longer next time!

Great place, great room/house, everything is close to paradise over there.
Marianne is really nice and welcoming, the place is quiet and clean and beautiful. Firstly no so easy to find along the little streets but then we take advantage of this situation, and we're really happy to be there. Close to restaurants.

Such a lovely spot. Will be back in February 2018 as well. So restful. Beautiful casitas, long walks, space for clearing the brain. Interesting town, great choices of restaurants. Terrific market on Sundays. Marianne is a fabulous host!
